Punishment?? Or torture??

Punishment is given to make someone understand that if he does the forbidden, will get himself in trouble.

But torture is a worse thing. Weak people get tortured. Because torturer knows the weak person cant fight back.

 We destroy the personality of a child by torturing him ,  just to make him obey us. It could make him a loser and a negative person .

Some people release their frustrations on childern.  Beating or shouting is not a proper way of making someone understand something.

Love and politeness can do it better.
